Patty Popov joined Nichols & Pratt in 2000. Patty is also a partner of Pratt, Bator & Popov, LLP, where she practices trusts and estates law. Patty is a member of the Massachusetts Bar, and the American, Massachusetts and Boston Bar Associations. She is also a member of the Boston Probate and Estate Planning Forum. Patty has been selected for The Best Lawyers in America. Patty is currently a member of the Trustees of Parish Donations and the Legacy Committee at First Parish Church in Concord. She is also an Overseer for the Concord-Carlisle Community Chest. Prior to joining Nichols & Pratt, Patty practiced law for 10 years at Goodwin Procter in Boston. Patty served for 10 years on the Middlesex School Board of Trustees and for 3 years on the Town of Concord Finance Committee. She served as a Director of the Concord-Carlisle Community Chest, including serving as Treasurer and on its Executive Committee. Patty graduated from Wesleyan University in 1985 where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. She graduated cum laude from Boston University School of Law in 1989, where in her second year she was named a Liacos Distinguished Scholar. Patty served as Note Editor of the B.U. Law Review and received the American Jurisprudence Award for Federal Taxation and the Prentice-Hall Student Award in Taxation. Patty grew up in Carlisle, Massachusetts and now lives in Concord. Patty and her husband have two grown children.
