Our goal is to preserve and grow the value of our clients' investments to enable them to meet their financial needs while building wealth for the future.
In general, we identify, through our own research, excellent companies that possess enduring business models and generate good returns on capital. We seek to buy them at fair prices and hold them for long periods of time. We believe in low turnover and the minimization of capital gains.
Markets are inherently unpredictable over short time periods. Therefore, we do not try to time markets.
We take a longer term view of financial markets than the average institutional investor. This enables us to see through cycles and look past short-term noise to identify long-term opportunities.

Long-term investors have an advantage over those with short term timeframes (and I think the latter describes the majority of market participants these days).
